Thief: Deadly Shadows - Screenshots @ GameSpot

GameSpot has four new <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/thief3/screenindex.html" target="_blanK">screenshots</a> from Ion's 3rd installment in the 'Thief' series.

Have we had any proper 1st-person screen shots yet?

What do you mean, "proper?" There have been tons of 1st-p shots, but most of the recent ones have been 3rd-p, presumably because it's a new feature and perhaps they want to show PC gamers who are willing to use their eyes & brains that it actually doesn't look rubbish.

If by "proper" you mean "recent," yes there are some - follow the links in this thread.

Is it just me, or does the shot where Garrett stands against the wall looks so much like Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell, right down to the way he bends his legs at the knee? Not to mention the crouch (in the cobweb filled room shot) too! Lol, I'm so going to get this game when it comes out!

But I got a few questions regarding the shots. Anybody here can answer them? I didn't follow the previews much.
1)How do you lean against the wall like that in 1st person?
2)Is the whole game playable in 3rd person?
3)Are those shots for the PC or Xbox? The textures look abit low res to me compared to Pandora Tomorrow, although I don't really mind if it's that way.

1. I would suggest pushing the back button on your controller or keyboard

2. Aiming is in first person, but the whole game is playable from third person.

3. Definitely PC shots, since it's located in the PC section of the site (look at the web addy)

A14 again
