What's good in Arx???

I'm sorry to post it in this forum , but I recently bought Arx , and was totally disappointed by it . At first , I didn't like the character creation , than the atmosphere , than the design , than all the other things...Can anyone tell me what's good there?

ARX I Guess just take it or leave it.

Sorry you didn't like the game, but I loved it for all the reasons you listed. I found the character creation a challenge and left the game open for great replay value. I loved the atmosphere, especially the crypts. I jumped in my chair several times, even when I knew what was coming. I thought the design was immersive and a lot of fun. I liked the interactions with stuff in the world of Arx. I found the cut scenes very well down, and the game offered so many ways to solve all the side quests, as well as how you handled combat. My only complaint was the lack of direction in the game itself, but that was taken care of by the great PDF file they provided. If you didn't like it, that is your choice. I have a stack of games here I never finished myself. That is the reason we buy them, to find a world we want to get lost in for awhile and that we find a challenge in beating. You are certainly entitled to your oppinion. Sell it on Amazon and recoup your loss.
