How do i charm a weapon?

I have the charm skill. What do i need to charm a weapon. I know that only certan weapons can be charmed. Help! Also, how do i kill the trolls near the bridge. There is about 17 trolls in the cave and one king, anyone have any sugestions?

To charm an object:
- equip it
- click on it and it will open a window with sockets
- drag a charm stone onto a vacant socket.

To kill the trolls:
It really depends.. I played a warrior, and used its circullar attack (to hit all troll surrounding you in one strike) and some health and stamina portions (you can asign hot-keys for portion; also pausing the game is helpful). If it is still too touph, let them be (trolls are not critical and there's so much to do in DD), find a better weapon/armor, level up and then return.
