| Arx Fatalis Manual needed... |
|
Does anyone have the Arx Fatalis Manual in English?
I've only seen the manual in german and french...
i don't mind what type it is - pdf, doc, html, as long as it'll be the manual...
please help me...

Did you download the PDF file in the support section of the home page of this forum? It is the manual and then some.

i did download the pdf file from this site, but it wasn't what i was looking for.
it's a user's guide, and has many spoilers, walktrhoughs and tips, which is great, but it's not what i needed
i want the official game manual... after all there must be one, right? the one that came within the game box? i heard that it's pretty good...
i would be glad if a person that have a copy of it on his computer will be in touch with me, or even greatful if someone is willing to scan his and send it to me. that's all...

Only thing I got with the game was a small book with the same stuff as the PDF file, with the exception of installation and computer stuff. If was a little booklet in the box, not on the cd. You might send a note on the technical thread here and see if they can help you.

I have a full manual, that came in the box with the game. I don't know if one was provided for every release country. Sometimes here, we don't get printed manuals, just a PDF on the disk. I get really upset when that happens after paying $100 for a game!!

It's 72 pages long, and I don't think it will scan well. It's on grey glossy paper and the text is quite difficult to read as it blends in with the background. I can give it a try, but I suspect very poor resolution will be the result.
Update. With some fiddling I have managed to get a bitmap image that is tolerable. How could I get any such images to you? They won't post here. I'm not a very technical person.

If you email Arkane Studios and ask them, they will send you an answer with a copy of the manual, because I just got one in the email a few days ago. |

That pdf guide is pretty much everything useful in the manual though. At least till you can get one sent to you.
Just stick to pages 1-16 for stats & xp tables, and pages 75-84 for runes/spells. There's no spoilers/walkthru stuff in those sections. |
