Displaying threads/posts in a printable format?

My apologies if I am missing something obvious, but is there way to display forum topics/threads in a printable format? (i.e. text of the thread only, no graphics and other stuff)

I just highlight the text I want, go to edit, hit copy, then go to desktop and open notepad and again go to edit and then paste. It should work for you as well. Welcome to the boards by the way.
