Yeah, I tried Battlespire on ME a while back and it just wouldn't work. The timing was too fast, I got stuck in walls and in sloped floors etc - and never got out of the first room!

Daggerfall, however, worked great! If you want to try it out before you buy, there is a very good one-dungeon demo available at m0use (16MB):

Thanx for that. I'll keep a watch on eBay too.

Battlespire is the only TES game I never got; it's as good as unavailable here, the only occasion being in a pack with 99 other old games (I had most of them, anyway). Sigh.

Battlespire was my first Bethesda's game. I played it on my Cyrix 120 Mhz computer with 16 megs of RAM and 2 megs of video card memory, and that seem so many years ago.

I'm still game newbie by then. I bought it simply because the name of the game start with "battle...", while a screenshots of hero holding big sword heading toward towering dark fortress made me so eager to whup some evil asses.

My first one was Arena, then Daggerfall (which I am replaying right now, by the way), missed out on Battlespire, then I got Redguard and then Morrowind.
