Using a headset during multiplayer

Guys,

Is anyone presently using a headset for communications during multiplayer sessions of NWN??

I am thinking of getting a set so that (if possible) you can talk to fellow chars instead of typing.

Do you need any special software etc??

Regards,

Hexmaster

You probably do since it's not supported in NWN, that I know of.

I recommend you "Roger Wilco". I use it too, when playing online and the game doesn't suppert voice-over-net itself.

i don't think NWN supports that. is roger wilco a third party program that you'd run while playing NWN? if so, i assume that would require purchasing the program and everyone else would also need the program. because of the expense i don't think that is a great option. personally i enjoy the typing aspect of the game...it is sort of like IM but better.

Yes, it is a third-party program. You can download it for free at the official site.

Sorted..

Thanks for the input guys.

Sorry about the delay in replying, but I forgot about this post until I just spotted it.

Anyway, we are just using Microsoft Messenger with our headsets and playing NWN in coop mode is a breeze now...no more typing..

Thanks again,

Regards,

Hex
