Because by that time, my attention will have undoubtedly gone elsewhere.
I might try it out when the box price drops and they've cleaned up the game, but unless I get hooked early on, I'm not going to rush out and buy it on release day.

i just saw today that they started doing preorders for horizons.. have they been doing that long? I think they were doing the preorders with gamestop.. i cannot remember exactally what they were giving away, but it did sound like a pretty good deal... is anyone thinking about preordering Horizons? |

Just another title that will be put out..half done shoddy,buggy, to get money to test for another game they can make more money on!
And to make a point, think of any and all good RPG's you have played and what factors made the game fun?? Dungeons? Faction systems?? maybe the ability to swim in the abundant ocean(as in EQ,Morrowind). Then base your decision to play off the reviews that come out after NDA is dropped. |

I got accepted into Horizons Beta too a short time back, and I am enjoying it. 
Still playing Rubies of Eventide too(been playing that since May)as something to hold me over until Horizons is released.
For those who might remember me, that's where I've been all this time. I still read the main news here, but hardly ever come to the message boards anymore.

Interesting on the pre-order...
aren't they offering some in game special quest if you do it. now that would be a reason to pre order IMO. I probs will...gonna get two MMOs this year I guess!!
