Zainab Camp Fifth Trail Problem

Hey all,

So far I've been named Nereverar by all the ashlander camps except one: the Zainab camp. I'm having problems here. Everyone in the camp, including the wise women, instructs me to go and talk to Kaushad (the Ashkan). Anyways, I cannot get him to tell to tell me anything at all about what I have to do to become Nerevar. The walkthrough says I'm to give him my shoes or something, but that option will not come up either. I've tried talking to him about every single thing on the list, but I get nothing.

I've heard this is a bug of some sort, but any input on how to deal with this problem would be great.

There may be a bug, but I've never run into this one myself. What is SUPPOSED to happen is that when you talk to him about the Nerevarine topics you'll get a choice of things to say back to him. If you choose "Set me a task", he will ask you to kill a vampire named Calvario in the Nerano Tomb well north along the mountains. You might try going to that tomb and killing Calvario and then see if that triggers the "get me a bride" task. Good luck

Yeah, I went and found the cave and killed the vampire but it still didn't help. However, I heard somewhere else that Tribunal fixes this problem. I was planning on waiting until I finished Morrowind to get it, but I guess I'll just get it now. I don't have to start the Tribunal missions right away, i guess, right?

The first Tribunal "quest" will hit you pretty much immediately, but that one can be resolved pretty quickly and then you're free to ignore Tribunal.
