Oh ya wizardry 8 is really cool I would try it out. It is very difficult though and actually it starts out real difficult and actually get easier after your characters start to develop ad its later in the game |

@Dani - The full game (with expansions) is *that* long??!! Wow.
The game it self is extremely long (I guess 200+ hours if you're not trying to go through as fast as you can). Expansions adding another 50+ hours.
I guess very long can mean too long (at least for me), so I've not finished the game yet. This is my third try. However, I think I'll finish it this time :]. With average of around 5 hours per week (I think I spend playing that long in average), it's nearly one year :].
I was wondering if I'd missed a major chunk of the game. I did complete it ... not sure how much time I spent before moving here in Dec 2002, but from 4 Dec to 19 Dec, MW was what I did. I'd just moved here, and Mrs Lintra was not here yet - I had tons of time. So that is 16 days, 4 of which were weekends, so figure 4*12 + 12*4 is roughly 100 hours to complete it ... plus the small amount (prolly about 20 hours) before departing ... all told about 120 hours of playing time. Now I have to admit that the last 4 days were spent in 'just finish the game now' mode, since I was leaving the island and when then returning with Mrs Lintra ... and did not want to have an unfinished epic hanging over my head. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

I just started playing Temple of Elemental Evil. So far it's not a bad 'PnP' experience. |

I loved that game. I am very sorry they didn't use the engine to make an other with a better story. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=

I also terribly love the game. But I don't wish that they did make another one with the same engine, since I had a hard time giving up ToEE. Therefore, if they did make another game with the same engine and better story, that's a game I would hardly be able to stop playing. |

There are no plans for a Mister at the moment, Danicek
anyway, I just downloaded the demos of Fate and Geneforge 3, and I will be trying them out later on today. |

After finishing Dungeon Lords 2x (once as Mage other as 'paladin' type) and getting my review done ...
I played through Nox, which was fun
Now playing Fate ... really cool for $20
And still finishing up Untold Legends on the PSP ... it makes Fate's random dungeons look like pure genius ...

Since I am always about two years behind the current gaming scene, I am currently playing KOTOR I for the first time. I am quite impressed so far with the game!!!
Next on my list of games I need to remove from my huge stack of unplayed games: Gothic 2, Baldur's gate SOA expansion, and Icewind dale II |

I am having an absolute blast with this game! I love the NPCs in my party and the way they react and bicker. Jeff just makes these games better and better with every new release. Several problems with the previous Geneforge games are now gone. The gameplay is fantastic. It's a pity his games aren't more recognized. They are pure fun to play and a real challenge. It's so refreshing.
Try this game people! _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

ATM i'm sort of a retrogamer ass i've begun to play Icewind Dale II . One thing that bugs me is the poor path finding routine like in BG but apart from that it's pure bliss. |
