| Forging the Ultimate weapon |
|
I am trying to forge the ultimate weapon and I am one power stone short. Can I still forge the weapon another way? If I can't, can I still complete the game??? |

You need to find powerstones to activate the machinery in the forgery to create the ultimate weapon...
...BUT when I collected all powerstones I had one extra, so I think you will only need around 4 of them to activate all machinery.
So just walk around the mines look through all bodies and look into all rooms and you will find more than enough powerstones! Without them you cannot activate the forgery machines and cannot complete the game, but they are all there trust me! 
PS: There is one powerstone close to the forgery on the wall of the mine, have you found that too?

if u used the crushing machine to kill the black beast, then the machine needs another power stone. there is 1 in the rafters of the mine area, just outside the forge. |

And you can save one powerstone by not using teleportation machine, but draging the mithrill chunk to the smasher.
BTW, did anyone manage to kill the black beast without smashing him first?

Yep, lure the beast into the lava pool which appears after activating the switches.
