Any way to help all 3 initiates? (Sorry if covered already)
   

Sorry if this has been addressed, but...

You can help one of 3 initiates with your "wish" when you become a mage: Babo, Opolos or (the guy who's in trouble when you get there). Seems that you can only help one though. Are there alternate ways so you can help all 3?

Nope, you only can ever choose one per game, there is no way to help all three, so make your choice.

Yep, so if you want to keep your "failed quests" list cleared, you'd better not talk to two of the people about their problems.

Hm what different rewards do you get from the different people? I made Babu a gardener, but I don't remember what I got.

The rewards for you are identical, 100 exp +25 exp when you talk to the novice again.
