Crossbow, Part II

Thanks for clearing up the confusion I had from my previous post.
Since crossbows only show the minimum strength in the description, is there anyway to know at what dexterity bonus damage for a given crossbow applies due to a high dexterity?
For instance, if a light crossbow requires a 65 strength to wield, how can I tell at which dexterity number I start getting bonus damage?
Thanks.

Your dex level is always added to the basic damage value. So if you have a 60 damage xbow (str requirement doesn't matter) and 60 dex, you'll do 120 damage .

If I'm not mistaken, the added damage will only happen if you score a critical hit, which in turn is dependent of your skill in that kind of weapon.

That's not how it seemed in my last dex based character. It seemed like every hit was a full damage hit and the weapon level only affected accuracy. It was all or nothing as far as I could tell. Melee weapons are different, of course.
