Any way to play Fallout2 at higher resolutions?

Hey guys, like almost everyone else here I LOVE Fallout 2.

There is only one thing that stops me when I want to play it again however. I have a 19" Monitor and 640*480 resolution looks horrible on it, I cant stand it and cant play anything at that resolution. I was wondering if it was possible, through editing some config files or some sort or third party app, that you could raise the resolution in Fallout2. Anything higher then 640*480 would be fine by me, even 800*600.

*crosses fingers* Please say there is

Dang, they really should give old classics like this graphics updates. Hell I would buy the thing again at the price of an xpac just for a graphics update.

It is modable. They released the editor a few months ago and some people are already working on mods.

There is a fan made patch and a few small mods of which we reported here.
You also might want to check out this polish site on mods.
