A delay/release date forum is a nice idea: Here's my first two cents: I take any bet, that Morrowind does not make it in 2001!

Hey, you have to set up the forum first! Oh, and also maybe it could be setup to accept credit cards so the bets can be more interesting <: Of course you Dotters would have a little advantage seeing as you can actually talk to the game developers personally and get the inside dirt. So maybe you shouldn't be allowed to play d:

Hey, this could be one way for RPGDot to get some money, by taking a small percentage of all bets?

Speaking of games, Chaerea suggested a kind of RPG Shootout similar to the UEFA Champions League. RPGDot draws the first round with say 64 selected RPG's and you, the readers, vote for the game you prefer. The game with the more votes advances into the next leg until we have a grand finale...
What do you think?

Hey, that'd be cool. Bring some interactivity into the place, such as polls, etc.
If real world money is too shaky to actually wager online, we could use simulated cash to wager on game release dates. We could wager on game cancellations, as well..... And companies going broke! |

How about a dead pool for crpgs that never see the light of day. You probably could fill up 64 slots. The prize would be an empty box with conjectured artwork. |
