I've hacked in a new BBCode: [ spoiler ] Spoiler-Text [ / spoiler ]. It works just like the quote tag, except that the text is only visible if highlighted. More info in the BBCode FAQ.
Here's an example:
Spoiler: The secret of life.
"I sent my soul through the invisible,
Some lessons of the after-life to spell,
By and by it came and answered,
I myself am heaven and hell."
- A Poem from the Persian.
As always, if anything doesn't work right anymore, please drop me a line.
One question to all DarkEQ users - there is an error in the darkeq style sheet. Quotes are actually supposed to look like this spoiler example above. Do you want them to look that way, or do you want the spoiler boxes to look like the current quote boxes (black)?
And now happy spoiling and riddling! _________________ “Through the sounds of falling rain, through the clouds of bitter times

I have seen that method at other forums - and i think it's excellent way to block out any spoilers. _________________

It's not an error - just the easiest way to get them black, because I wanted them to be black on purpose (recolored the whole template with the exception of the pop-up window and the preview mode because I just don't like so much violet on one page).
I do, however, think that the spoiler line is a good idea. Just not in violet and purple, please, if it can be arranged. |

In this case it shall be black. _________________ “Through the sounds of falling rain, through the clouds of bitter times

Great idea! Hmm, testing:
Spoiler: The Dragon hunt in G2
The Fire Dragon is at the same place as Ur-Shak in G1.

Alright, i used the spoiler code recently and i think the spoiler part in the form of usual quote format isn't very attractive. It seem cutting up the flow of the text too much and unnecessarily. This would become more apparent when someone also using couple of real quotes in his/her text.
My suggestion: black out (in white or black colors) the potential spoiler statements in the text itself, without the need to separating the statements into special section as in the quote format.
Since this is very subjective thing, i want to hear everyone else opinions regarding this matter. _________________
