Anybody know of any software retailers selling Wizardry 8 in the UK? Failing that, any European distributors shipping English language versions to the UK (preferably at a reasonable price)?

Cheers guys and gals.

The "Electronique Boutique games" or just "EB-games" shops have been selling this game in Denmark over a month now!
I don't no if you got any EB-games" shops over there, but it's a worldwide selling company.

Tried electronicsboutique.co.uk without any luck. Will keep looking, maybe I'll have to import. It'd better be worth it....

Thanks for your help.

Maybe you could let EB-games get the game for you, they are however the worldwide publisher of the game!
BTW let me see your favorit top 5 CRPG games, and I might get an idea if you will like the game or not!

Top 5, huh? Well...

1. Planescape: Torment
2. Might and Magic 2 (on the Amiga)
3. Fallout 2
4. Balders Gate 2 (TOB)
5. Might and Magic 7

I think that about covers it. BTW, what's the link for EB-games? Cheers, M.

hehe "Mogwins" you edited your last post a few times, did you have a hard time finding the top 5 games???

Ebgames: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/default.asp

Wizardry 8: On your top 5 list i see MM7, and Wizardry 8 has many common features to that. 1.person, party control, combat system etc. However W8 is much more beautifull regarding the graphics (Go figure the game is a lot newer), and much bigger if you counting gameplay hours, 120+ at least. I used 143 hours, and still had a few loose ends. My worries is to see Planescape, on the top of your list, telling me you like a deep and story rich game. BTW I liked Planescape too. But W8 has a fairly good story IMHO, but nothing close to Planescape, actually more like MM7 in content! W8 is about discovering a big world in 1.person view, with a great character building system, and an advanced turnbased combat system. There are many races to visit and get friends or foes with (you decide). You can play a secret agent or even dobbeltagent for some of the races in the game! It's not a game for the superficial player who wants fast and easy solutions. You also have to be creative in combat, to handle the different foes. If you don't you will get a very hard time, otherwise if you smart you will be able to kill even the toughest creatures without to much sweat!

Er, me again, I'm afraid.

Have checked EB-games, and about the only place in the whole world they don't ship to is the UK! This is because of they'd be infriging on the territory of their sister company eb.co.uk. However, eb-uk don't shock Wizardry 8 (aparrantly never have, and have no plans to do so in the future). Arghhh!

Any ideas?

I ordered my copy of Wizardry 8 at http://www.strategic-plus.co.uk/
The delivery worked like a charm, even with shipping to Luxembourg. Hope this helps.
