Yes, altough it still has to be seen if it will be free for people outside the US as well. Depends a bit on publishers and such. But Guild Wars sounds like an exciting project... developed by an ex-Blizzard team, among who Pattrick Wyatt, programmer of Battle.net.

He wasnt asking for a free one, he was asking for one that doesnt have a subscription. Guild Wars is the only one (for people in USA) that does not charge a monthly subscription, that i know of. You still have to pay for the game, just not a monthly subscription.

I'm not sure the question is all that clear... I can answer in two ways:

- Games that do not require credit card to subscribe:
Star Wars Galaxies
EverQuest
Earth&Beyond

*You can find, or order, pre-paid game cards that allow you to play for two or three months. You can buy these game-cards in stores, and so don't need a credit card to buy them. There could be more of them, these are the ones I can think of.

- Games that do not have any subscription fees at all:
erm...........

*This one has been answered again and again and again and...... search the forums for the terms "free mmorpgs" and I'm sure you'll come up with a few suggestions. I personally don't know of a good one that I could recommend.
