Stuck Underground in BD ( just cant find way out..)

I bought Beyond Divinity some time ago having played and finished DivDiv...

I started playing it as soon as I bought it and was slightly under-whelmed by it, plus the fact I was getting totally thwarted, made me shelve it for a while.

Anyway, I am back to playing it.

Is it me or is it more...."awkward" to play. During combat, accessing the potions aint easy....am I missing something? I dont remember DD being this way but that was some time ago.

I am still underground which is becoming VERY BORING indeed. Gone through a few portals and have now come across this "guy" who says something like "welcome adventurers...blah...blah...blah...! and then totally owns me....tried it five times now......could be going back on the shelf..

Regards,

Hexmaster

Well, BD is sitting on my shelf because I never could get it to run right. Maybe I'll try it again over the holidays.

When dealing with potions, I'd have the quick tab under the party member portraits visible and a finger on the pause button. The pause button saved me a number of times.

You're in Act 2 right?

Val,

No...I am quite near the beginning actually...this game never did really grab me, but I thought I should give it another blast as I had spent some hard earned on it.

I have downloaded the latest patch which gives the difficulty option, so I set to easy mode and beat him that way....not really true to my spirit but hey..??

Thanks for replying, might be time for a bit more HoU

Regards,

Hexmaster

You mean you were stuck on the prison level? Yeah, that part of the game didn't really suck me in as much as I hoped it would. I just didn't feel the great urgency to escape.
