I get up to the circle, and dialogue begins; after that the game freezes. The game is still active, but I am unable to move, or do anything with my party, I cannot even use options to quit out, have to ctrl, alt.del, out.

Right after the dialogue that Dark Savant says, it freezes up on me, and as I said above occures... While the dialogue is occuring camera pans over the right side after the dialogue it freezes. The game is still operating but I cannot do anything.. I checked out the Wiz 8 web site couldn't find anything...

thanks in advance, hope someone can help out, cause I just want to beat it hehe...

Strange bug, I never heard about it.

I have not much to say, I can give you only two sugestions:
- try last patch (latest English versions are already patched - so maybe you have one or you already did it)
- save saves into another folder, reinstall Wizardry 8 (it could help because your problem doesnt seem to be bug (because I never heard about it), so it can be corrupted file)

I suppose you already have latest drivers for you graphic card.

If this will not help, post it and we will try to find another solution.

Good luck.

I hope this will not stop you so close to end .

Also check your options menus.
I think there is an option for what happens during game events.
Try turning it off or on.
