As expected Aspyr Media announced the North American release for Q1 2006!
Q1 is rather unlikely, but at least they show their intention to ship the game ASAP.

Why is Jowood not publishing it any longer? because of their finicial problems?

as I understand it Jowood is responisbile for European release(UK not included) and this new company is just for North american release.

Well who is responsible for gothic 3 UK release, dont want a repeat of either of the last 2 gothic games, one never released, one delayed lots.

JoWooD´s shareholder´s meeting went as planned. The way is free for Koch Media to take over 40-45% of JoWooD.

Latest news is that it's 46,x%. Not sure what the decimal is though, nor is it important. JoWood is safe for now, that's the important thing. 
alexpetersmith - I think Deepsilver is the JoWood partner responsible for publishing games like The Guild 2 and Gothic 3 in the UK(and several other countries). I'm not sure though, maybe somebody else knows. |

Deep Silver is the label under which Koch Media publish their games.
In the context here on the forums there normally isn't really a difference between the two.
