Minions of Mirth: Gold Date and Update

Prairie Games has announced that 'Minions of Mirth' will go Gold on Dec 15th - we'll have the formal press release as soon as it is released.

In addition, some interesting combat enhancements were recently added. Here's a snip:

NPCs are now automatically detargeted when you end interaction with them.

Engaging combat mode with an enemy selected no longer adds aggro if they are out of range.

Implemented Block, Dodge, and Shield skills.

Implemented Kick skill

Monks now get Flying Tiger martial arts at level 8 for some serious smack down.

Head to the official forums for more and look out for some additional coverage we have in the pipeline.

It's goood.

This game has allot of promise, it is already better in beta than 90% of MMORPG's out there in release right now.
No monthly fees, anyone can run their own server with custom zones, and low cost for the player. Nobody can lose there. I am only playing the Demo but I am sure in time the game will get even better.

The only drawback I can see is the level 100 cap, but maybe that will change as well. This is what Neverwinter Nights should have been, but wasn't. I am going to laugh when all the big name companies stand up and take notice. Let's just hope EA, or Microsoft doesn't try and buy them because they would ruin it for everyone.

I concur!! Stay tuned for some in depth articles I'm preparing in conjunction with Josh. There's lots more to come.
