Interesting new MMORPG: Realms of Torment |
|
Go check out their site and FAQ. This game looks pretty interesting and the beta signup is already in place.
Realms of Torment
Read the sectioin about the skill system. It sounds really interesting, classless skill system with total customization. Woot, that's what I like! _________________ =Moderator of General MMORPG talk forum=

Yep! Been looking forward to this one for a while now. The whole bloodline concept seems very interesting. Not to mention a skill-based system that is very reminiscent of UO in that unused skills degrade over time. Nice concept! I just hope they can deliver _________________ =Proud Father of a new gamer GIRL!=

Wow, that looks really interesting. I quit MMORPGs because of the leveling treadmill, i started feeling like a monkey hitting a lever for another food pellet after awhile, or some addict whacking a slot machine waiting for a good drop. The Bloodline concept is totally cool, Id just want to make sure my online mate was actually a woman. Would need a confirmation phone call or two. Could be a real suprise to find out the "mother" of your child is actually some fat sweaty dude smoking a cigar in a white tshirt and boxers!
Doh! Can you say ReAlms Of Torment Divorce Court??? Oh man, i hope they dont incorporate TOO MUCH reality into the whole thing, last thing i want is an MMORPG custody battle with some online cross-dresser for my virtual offspring. What if I just said the hell with it and bailed, would I have to pay 1,000 GP a month or something in virtual child support? What a potential nightmare ='.'= _________________ “Then away out in the woods I heard that kind of a sound that a ghost makes when it wants to tell about something that's on its mind and can't make itself understood, and so can't rest easy in its grave, and has to go about that way every night grieving.”-Mark Twain |

hehe I wouldn't worry too much about all the details like that Actually if you read the FAQ all the way through they also mention that there is a way for you to adopt your offsprings, or even obtain them through divine influence. I'm sure there will be quests linked to that so that if you don't want to take a chance living a virtual romance with a cross-dresser _________________ =Proud Father of a new gamer GIRL!=
