Saw some minutes ago Ray Charles have died of some kind of liver disease. I haven't heard much made of him, but what I've heard was good, and I loved his acting i Blues Brothers. Well well, old people die, regardless of if they're famous or not...

He had a powerful impact on the music industry over many years. He overcame many obstacles, including being blind and black at a time when neither were 'fashionable'. He will be missed.

He was a great musician. He played in many movies which is really cool thinking that he was blind. May he rest in peace.

"Hit the road, Jack!" is my favourite together with his biggest hit "What'd I Say"
I've seen him also in the BB, but I mostely like the music not really the acting.
