And a fair one at that. Looks like he only played a paladin, but I suppose it's too much to ask from a reviewer to spend hundreds of hours on a single game. :p |

Your guess is correct. I've played the mercenary and fire mage paths for a short while to get a short grasp of them, however, finished the game as paladin as there's only a limited amount of spare time I can spend on playing a game as you already assumed. I'll definitely beat it again with at least one of the other classes, but finishing it with one out of three is enough to judge whether a game is enjoyable or not.[/quote] |

Well you know, I'd agree for typical RPG's where a class (only) defines the character and his combat style, but in G2 a different class also means a different script with different quests, different events, a different world view, different attitudes, etc... even different bugs. :p
In that light, a review based on (predominantly) a single G2 class is bound to show a one-sided picture. It's a bit like trying to review life, but only from the perspective of -let's say- an Iraqi army officer. :p
Regardless, I think you did a great job... very professional and enjoyable. |
