Ok, so I'm out looking for Focus Stones. I got 2 of em, now I go to the top most one. Where I killed the Troll and his little gobbo frinds long before. I see Diego.. I'm think uh oh did I kill it too soon? Why.. Yes I did. Diego leads me there and *boink* another troll appears. How can I kill it? Can I get another Shrink Monster spell? I hit it with normal magic and it just doesn't do enough damage. Diego doesn't hurt it, I'm level 16 and my Strength is around 57 and I am using the Sword of Death and I hit it like 35 times for zero damage. I simply cannot kill it without that spell. I don't know how to use the cheats, I could always make another shrink scroll.. I read on http://www.avault.com you change "test mode 0" "to test mode 1" to enable cheats. But there is no such variable in my Gothic.ini and even If I put it in nothing seems to happen. Suggestions? I'm using English version 1.08j BTW. I really don't want to cheat but since it glitched on me I might as well. |

Okay this is odd, I was just back in racking my brain trying to find a way. During the fight I transformed into a Minecrawler. And the Troll and Diego disapear. I'm like WTF? I look around the the Troll is back at his start spot and Diego is over by the winch. I revert forms and go to talk to him. I get there, my journal updates, then he says good job and all that - then go get the focus stone. The winch is still jammed and the gate in the tunnel is still closed. Odd stuff. |

Did you ask Diego about the jammed winch?
The troll is unimportant, you can kill it later. |

Yes, that works and all.. But Diego is still there fighting with the Troll. I walked back to the OC and he's not there. So it seems he's stuck in a never ending battle with the Troll. I know I'll find a way to kill it later, but will will even more things get screwed up because Diego is not where he should be? |
