Good job of finishing BG Ammon, I'm on the same boat you are, just started replaying the whole series again, since I never really finished any of it.

Yeah, I could live without video games, if push comes to shove, but it would be boring without them, at times.

Sure I COULD, in fact sometimes I dont even fire a game up for a couple days, tho its pretty rare. Most time lately is spent not actually *playing*, but editing, making maps, scripting, ripping apart things to see how they work. Or its spent reading or writing game reviews, forums, or otherwise scathing criticism or praise. With me, the more relevant question would be "Could you live without your computer?" To which the response would definitely be NO. But, since that is not the question, my answer to "Could you live without games"? The answer is
"Yes, just as long as it wasnt someone telling me I couldnt play them."

I can live without them or my computer (proving it time and time again during my vacations ). But I wouldn't want to. And yes, I hate being told to do or not to do things as well, so in most cases a blacklisted game is a must have for me.

Why, thank you sir! Its been like a month-long playing spree every day for 8 hours, and now i finally finished Shadows of Amn and am barely beginning Throne of Bhaal. Its been one hell of a journey. I am using the same character throughout the whole series. His name is (surprise) Ammon, and he is now a level 19th Mage. He has got some awesome spells though. My party can take on anybody, seriously, anything the game has thrown at us has been defeated. *sigh* What a feeling!

Good luck with your ventures in Forgotten Realms, man! Its really worth it, in my opinion. Its so much fun, just dont give up (or just lower the difficulty setting, which i only did once). Happy gaming man!

@Ammon

Yeah, I wanna do what you did and start from the beginning then carry my character over to the final chapter, but my problem is I wanna be able to play a Kensai in BG2 but this class is not available in the first chapter. Guess I'll have to settle for a fighter.

Since the option "most certainly, although it would be a little dull" isnīt available, I do not vote. Games are a luxury. Just like TV, radiators, aircondition and electricity. One can live without all these things and more. Life would be harder, sure, but it is my strong opinion that mankind is not meant to live like this.

I do not use TV for months. I saw it once or twice in year, I just do not like it and I do not have time to give it to PC games and to TV in one time.
