I've picked up a copy of Gothic, and while I still hate that interface I intend to finish it this time ...

I am recently playing Might and Magic II:Gates to Another World SNES version.
The user interface of the PC version was terrible cumbersome.

Have fun with it Dani. The original campaign is the (IMHO) the least interesting of the three.

Also check out some of the mods available. Adds hunderds of hours of free additional playing time ... just ask us in the NWN forum for suggestions!!

I've been playing with the NWN toolset, trying to recreate some adventures I ran in the past for the pen and paper game. It is loads of fun, but I doubt i'll ever finish anything good.

I'm also giving NWN another go. I already got some Hall of Fame modules ...

I *was* working my way through Beyond Divinity (Dhruin's fault ... but it is more fun than I expected)

PC
On hold ... : Metalheart: Replicants Rampage - look for another glowing review if I can force myself to finish it ...
Now Playing: Dungeon Siege II - having more fun in the real game than the demo ... it is very well executed, and has really fixed much of what bored the crud out of me in the original.

PSP
Now Playing: Death Jr: I have been hearing mediocre stuff, but decided to give it a shot. Has a fun sensibility to it ... we'll see.

I've also been thinking of giving some of the NWN premium modules a try ...

Mike

I just just picked Hitman: contracts last friday from the bargain bin(only 10 euros) Hitman-games are my favorites. However this latest part feels more like an add-on instead of a brand new game, just like the reviews said when it was released.I hope they manage to make the next chapter in the series(the blood money) freshier and more original.Contracts is like hitman 2.5, intead of 3. Nevertheless i'm enjoying this "add-on" very much .
Its just wonderfull how there are so many different ways to solve missions .
A very clever and stylish game.

I'm sorta hooked on the D&D Dragonshard rts. Been playing it like 2 weeks.
Although I consider it a great game and i recommend it for RTS buffs, I feel its only fair to point out a few things as a warning for anyone getting this.

- There are no unit "stances". All units have one stance, and its aggressive. Best thing to do is set spacebar to "hold", and use that as a de-facto "stand ground" stance. If not, youre gonna have units running all over the map.

-There are no formations. Be ready to do a bit of shepherding of your units.

The thing I really like about it, is that beside the usual gold/crystal resources, experience points are a resource too. As your hero gains XP, it can be used to upgrade your military units, instead of "teching" thru the upgrades. Get x amount of XP, and you can level up your clerics to level 2. The bad thing is that your hero does not level, they stay right where they are, the only real change to them is items you pick up along the way that can enhance them further. This sort of hurts the "rpg" part of the game I guess, but when youre slugging it out in dungeons with D&D monsters, youll get over it.

Its interesting, was worth the money IMHO.
