Go down siege engine, head across the river, turn right, follow river until you come to hill, go up hill, bear right to find Gorn, he'll take you the rest of the way. (If you ask him nice )

...note:regarding the EX it gives you the last dragon of the 4 they exist in the valley of the mines is the Ice Dragon.....
The dragon you are searching for is:
1)if you have played Gothic 1:at the Fort Mountain(where lester helped you to find one of the 5 focus stones)
2)if you havent played Gothic1:open the map of the valley of the mines,at the bottom of the map there are two towers, inside the one at your right. The other is Xardas' tower.

Neg. That's just and old demon tower. Xardas lives in the newworld.

And in case these two posters' directions weren't clear enough, I'll say it this way. The rock dragon is the one you're looking for, and he's in the rock fortress south of the volcano.

Do yourself a favor...GO AND BUY GOTHIC 1.
Then you will discover in great SURPRISE of yours that this is the original tower of Xardas.

Playing gothic II without finishing the first one?
Don't want to insult nobody, but that just isn't same like when you finished the first part. You are more involved in the story and it's just better.
