Where can I find a good FAQ for newbies?

My copy of Morrowind came with my new graphics card (ATI All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro), but it didn't come with a manual. I need some quick general information, but the forum search doesn't seem to be working very well today.

Does anyone know where there's a good FAQ for Morrowind that adresses basics?

For instance, how do you use scrolls? When I try I only end up reading them.

TIA

No manual at all? Not even a PDF on the disk? Wow...

Well, there's some good info in these forums for specific topics, but I don't know of any quickstart-type guide, as it's generally assumed that you have a manual. It might be best for you to just post your questions, and we'll give them a go.

As for scrolls - what you're doing wrong is trying to access them via the inventory screen. As magical items they need to be accessed in the same way as the magic ring you got as part of the introduction: right-click to go to the information screens, if the magic window isn't open, click the magic icon at the bottom of the screen to open it, go down the list and you should find your scroll. Select it (click on it), then right click to return to the game. Now press R to ready your "active magic" (the scroll you just selected), and click to cast.

It might be the case; bundled software tend to be strip down to minimum. Some even only contain half of the full game - like HL and the original Unreal that came with my old GF 2. Probably the card's manufacture too poor...
