It looks fantastic! Level cap is forty, lots more big baddies to fight, new weapons, 40 new spells, and a dark setting. Looks like undead will play a big part in this one! I can' wait to get it!
What do you think?

I'll be getting it, but I hope they add some new content for lower level (<20) characters in addition to all the epic level stuff.

I'm not sure if they will. I read that you should be at least level 15 to play the HotU campaign. That's actually what I wanted, to be a powerful character and fight powerful foes.

The new prestige classes and feats (non-epic feats) should be usable for lower level modules. And of course the updates to the DM client as well.

But the module itself is for level 15+, yes.

Looks like my half-drow wizard that stomped NWN flat for the first review will get the dust blown off her and get to scream, 'Momma, I'm coming HOME... you *****!' and blow up the Underdark.

Hope they give you a fighter henchman. Hope they give you a fighter henchman. Hope they give you a fighter henchman...

I'm going to buy it for sure!
Underdark is cool and I hope to see a good story.
Two henchmen sounds great too, though you probably dont get a lot of exp that way.

This is NWN... they wiffle batted the xp down to 1/10th what it should be in D&D anyways so they can throw 10x more enemies at you.

Extra henchman shouldn't harm it much, if at all.

Moving the level cap to forty sounds like alot of fun. If thats not enough some great usermods will make it worth the cost. What about the Gold version that will add some templates for orginal owners but not much else?

Like everything else related to 'Gold' or 'Collectors Editions" related to D&D ever made, those templates will be released eventually to all users. There's not a template in the universe worth paying extra money for.

One thing I would like is to be able to hire multiple henchmen.

They're definitely adding spells and feats for lower level characters.

Can't wait to get this game. I'm just getting back to playing the original and the expansion. Currently starting a ranger character with one level of wizard, and i chose the panther as a companion, so my character is reminding me of drizzt d'urden. Can't wait to find another longsword so i can dual wield. i'll try to stick with him all the way to the end of HoTU

Hrm, you need the original for this one, right? Maybe I'll pick up the gold edition and see what the fuss is about. Although I don't like looking down on my characters much.
