oblivion experiment - did it work?

I knocked down Ignaz, robbed him. When he 'came to' I cast the spell and he did not seem to remember the incident. I notice the quest did not move to the 'completed quest' side of the journal. Is this normal?

Yeah it's kind of buggy, I think you have to cast it on him while he's on the ground. Also I think I had to come back in the next chapter for it to work right... just keep trying it and eventually it will take, if not try again in the next chapter. Sorry best I can do was weird for me too.

well i think this quest is made for you to kick that Valentino's butt
every time i play G2 i used the scroll on him
i did use it when he's still on the ground, u gotta talk to Ignaz again after the experiment to complete the quest,he'll then teach u to brew potion , you can also buy some crazy transformation scroll from him

I think so too, several citizens of Khorinis mention Valentino as somebody who could really use a good beating.

The point is that you get a citizen that refuse to talk with you. For that, common citizen are the best bet.

In front of the port tavern therr are always 2 normal citizen that talks. Soemetimes one is in the bar, sometimes they are 3 or more. Try it by day, just arm your sword then only one of them will ask you disarm, up to attack you. Then defend, knock him down. Wait he wakes up. Then try talk with him. If he refuse and mention stuff bout andre, it'sz cool. Cast oblivion on him. Then try again to speak to him and you get the normal dialog options so you succeed and just have to speak to Ignaz. And no fee to pay to andre from other people that saw the event.

It's a good option to valentino and easy fight.

It's a dam difficult quest to understand when you are a newbie.
