At the Swamp Camp I talk to Lester who tells me that if I tell him that I’ve renounced the old gods while in front of Baal Namib that Baal Namib will talk to me. I do that, and Baal Namib tells me to go to Cor Kalom and tell him that Baal Namib sent me. When I get to Cor Kalom and say, “I think I have convinced the Baals!” white text appears on the screen that says:
Condition for admission: Level 5
And he says nothing to me. I’m guessing that this is a bug? I’m running version 1.08k if that helps getting an answer to this.

You need to be level five to join a camp. Also, you need to convince 4 of the 5 Baals that you are worthy to join.

The infamous Lester bug. At one point you have to talk to Lester in front of the Baal. But Lester, who is elsehwere in the camp, because he led you somewhere, and you inadvertenly ditched him, won't move. (That's the Lester Bug). That's why I say don't have him show you around. If you find stuff on your own he always remains
at the front gate, at least until later. |
