G2 Demo

I'm having a major problem with the Gothic2 Demo and I don't speak or understand a word of German. I have installed it twice, on two separate drives and it still won't work. I get through the opening cinematics/intro and then my system freezes on a black screen, and usually I have to reset. I've tried many times. If I press the Esc key during, before after I start the game, it freezes immediately. Sometimes I can then CAD out of it to the desktop. I get a Gothic2 not responding message. My system is an AMD 1.4, 512 RAM an ASUS G4 and an SB 128. I have a 60 gig HD with plenty of space and have had no troubles running any other games including NWN, DD, and Morrowind. Gothic and its Demo both ran well on my system. Hope someone can help.

Sounds very strange indeed..

The only thing I can think of that you might try, is downloading the latest driver for your G4, and SB card(Direct X as well).
