Huge CD cases???

I seem to be the only one who noticed (and is pissed) about the new wave in game packaging. Both newer games i got "Gun" and "Age O' Empires 3" came in these huge (in game box terms) plastic cases, whose brilliant idea was this?

Huge CD cases or paper sleeves, is this what we are reduced to?

No kidding!
First, Age of Mythology was shipped so bare-bones, with a sliver of a manual and some cheap cardboard sleeve, I was suprised they didnt just write "AOM" with a sharpie on the disks.

Now were Super-Sized!
