Me being able to beat them all without moving a muscle because they hurl themselves off the cliff and bridge.

The goblins are mad as a barrel of monkeys. They'll attack anything that bothers them and run through all obstacles. I've had them fighting lizards and skeletons for fun.

I saw one fighting an orc. He pestered it for quite awhile too, then was most likely chopped into little pieces, cooked, then eaten by the orc. I don't know, I didn't stay long enough. Could of been the other way around, they might even still be fighting now.
But yeah, they are crazy. Then there was the time they........

No one yet has mentioned something along the lines of 'crap AI'..........

Another example would be the way that you can stand on the 'ramp' at the castle and watch as any orcs just stand a few feet away whilst you shoot/fireball them at your leisure.

Maybe they are meant to be that stupid. After all, most creatures that use strength of numbers do so because they are trying to compensate for something...

That's an exploit...the orcs are caught in AI loop..they can not pass that point..yet they want to kill you..if they could they would climb up and pull your spinal cord out.
You could lure ogres there all day if you want....but why?
By the time I returned to kill dragons..I could stand toe to toe with anything...dragons smagons...I killed them all by myself!

So it's not really bad AI...just part of the game..and an exploit if you want to use it...
You are just meant to run for your life and just barely make it...which is cool in my book.

Somehow they should have made some kind of trigger, that stops the orcs from attacking you when you stand on the ramp.

HUH?? The orc do NOT attack you when you make it to the ramp. What PB should have done is equip the orcs with ranged weapons so they have a fighting chance while you are on the ramp/safe zone. The point of this level was for you to run sneak RUN and gather info, not kill things. The ramp exploit was an oversight on PB's part.

I mean that stops them for going in to combat mode without being able to hit you. It's so dumb to see them pull their swords over and over again.

But then they would just stand there while arrows/fireballs were smashing into their motionless bodies...

Actually, when the creatures in Gothic lose interest in you, as Sem is saying, they tend to walk off. I think he means that they should put away their weapons and walk off into the sunset.

I killed dozens of orcs that way. I could kill the normal ones but not three normal ones and a elite. You can just smack them when they dont care about you anymore. If you stay there they will charge at you and stop again.

And about the bandit camp... Ehh... I was running backwards and fighting off all the bandits and i dropped myself.

That's what I mean. That they wouldn't go to you at the first place, because they somehow know that they can't hit you there.
