I am going to upgrade TNT2 M64 to GF2 Ti. Have anyone played Gothic with Ti and what was the stability? Any problems? I had enough performance with TNT2 so the stability will be more important. Never had problems with TNT2, would be stupid to change to the more expensive vid card to get into trouble, you know what I mean. The card I am looking at is MSI 8855 or 8836 |

Not exactly.
A GeForce2 Ti is a relabeled GeForce2 with an effective speed between Pro and Ultra, so there shouldn´t be problems under most windows versions. Only the well known random driver issues under XP. A friend of mine uses a Leadtech on Win98SE. Rock stable, no issues at all and at least twice as fast as a TNT2 Ultra. |

Why don't you get a GeForce 3TI?

Oops, when we got our computer a year ago, I didn't see the GeForce 2 Ti as an option. I must have assumed that Nvidia would concentrate not on the 2s but rather on the 3s and 4s. |
