Sad news: Troika games is shutting its doors.....

Sad news, people.

Troika games, makers of great games like Arcanum or Vampire: Bloodlines is closing its doors.

Lets all express our sincerest thanks for at least two great games and all our best wishes to its former employees, hopefully at least some of them will be working on other great CRPG`s soon.

I brought 2.Temple of elemental evil and Bloodlines.What a shame.Temple was 1 of the best rpg's i hav played in ages.I hope the staff go out and form a new company or something.They will b missed

This is sad, they made some realy fun games. ToEE I realy loved and would have liked to see endless sequels of, and more of Bloodlines wouldn't have bothered me either: esp. with more of.. better not mention a name, wife might read this

I bought toee and vampire.

I really liked vampire and didnt like toee. I would bet... that some of the troika people go work on fallout 3 at bethesda? What do u think about that theory?

I hope you're right, Stamar. While I think Bethesda will do a good job with Fallout 3, it sure wouldn't hurt to have some of the original Fallout crew on hand. I wonder if Tim and the gang would swallow their pride long enough to consider joining the company that outbid them for Fallout 3. I'd like to think so.

This is sad news indeed. They were one of my favorite devs. I have all of their games and I greatly enjoyed them.
