Why doesnt the cook take the brad to the King?!?
   

Is stuck at the Kings door and doesnt do anything else

Any ideas?

If you listen to the dialog, the king tells the cook to slide it under the door. You're not gonna get in that way.... Search the whole fortification for clues to get you in there.....
