Welcome to the forums!

The "when" and "who" are still unconfirmed, but it´s 100% sure that The Fall will be released in North America. It will even have several improvements, not only bugfixes.

Silver Style has more or less said they have an in-principle agreement with someone but no finalised contract. They also said there probably won't be any news on it for a little while, so we'll just have to wait it out.

You don't want them to rush it out anyway. Leave the current players to QA it for you for a while more and when it finally comes out you might have a fairly stable game. The French and Spanish releases were just nasty though.

Only a pirated version based on the buggy German original release.

The reviews of the new extended edition say it´s a very good RPG. Something like the Bioware games in a Mad Max scenario. The only weakness left is the unspectacular combat.

I know its a good rpg from reviews but I hope someone makes a mod to allow true third person in that you can zoom in very close so it's not top down or maybe even first person.

But, why is the combat unspectacular? Hundreds of ppl said that vampire bloodlines has bad combat.... I simply removed the horrible yellow highlight, and damage shower and it looks great to me.

As I understand it the combat is similar to KotOR, but with guns instead of light sabers and without force powers. Less f/x.

This is from Silver Side's CEO, Carsten Strehse
quote:
OK, here is the status:

- Yes, TF will be released in US, UK, Australia and all other English speaking territories. The game will also reach most parts of Asia.
- Yes, we already have partners for those territories.
- Yes, the English version will differ from the German one regarding some features. It will be the latest version (an advancement of the Extended Version if you want so).
- Yes, the release will be nearly simultaniously in the English speaking territories.
- No, we don't now the exact date, because it isn't that easy to coordinate the release on different continents. We are not EA (mercifully ).
- No, the English master isn't finished yet.
- What's the reason for the long waiting time? We simply want to release a perfect polished game, that's it.

Well, that's some good news. I'll be happier when they have a release date, though.

looking less and less likely to get released in english with every passing day, SS have really made a mess of this game, there sites hardly ever updated, the developers hardly post on the forums the forums are really quiet, theres still no news of a publisher after a year of them trying its as if no one wants to touch it!

Really not holding my breath for this one and if it did come out tomorrow Id wait until I found it in a bargain bin somewhere. Such a shame.

no I don't think they'll be an english release, I mean what's up with the screwed priortising?, I'm pretty sure there are more english speakers then french, or spanish but the game got released in other countries before the uk and the US, it's annoying.
ohh well, from gothic I know Danke mean thank you, alas kalla, means all clear or all right, and totte means dead, so maybe that's enough
