What is the coolest equipment that is visible?
Well I like a knight with one handed or two handed paladin sword and with a crossbow.
Dragon slayer pretty much the same, but I don't like the large dragon slayer since it looks like a 8 tonn mamma. I like the one handed dragon slayer, but it doesn't like to fit with a cross bow...
And as for magicians... just a robe...
Basically I like to make my character that way that it fits into the other character, which looks really nice...

I like the light dragon hunter's armor with a dragon crossbow and the large ore dragon slayer [which has an uncanny resembelence to the URIZIEL]

Yeah large dragon slayer is pretty neat... but I think they should've made it a bit thinner and more like the one handed dragon slayer... as I remember one of the shots at gamespot, the large dragon slayer looked so cool. It was the same shape of the one handed dragon slayer but it was longer and really shiny.

Paladin:Just his heavy paladin armor and one of the three magic runes* lighiting on his hand(*holy arrow,destroy evil,banish evil)
Mage:Just his robe and an army of Golems,Demons and Skeletons fighting by his side(the summonig magic)[how cool was that in Gothic 1 while you was wearing the Dark Arts Robe?the PURPLE EVIL magic**hail XaRdAs the necromancher**]
Dragon Hunter:I have never played as a mercenary,neither at Gothic nor at Gothic 2

Paladin with heavy armor and 2h magic ore blade
Merc with heavy armor unarmed ( I killed 2 orc warriors just by punching them )
