| Question about the ending? |
|
Did I do somethin wrong or is there more then one ending? All I got was a vid of The Sleeper being banished, then a black screen saying that I went back outside and that my adventures was just begining, and then credits. Someone please tell me that I screwed something up along the way and didn't get the real ending. |

No, that´s the ending. Underwhelming, isn´t it ? 
I was also a bit disappointed when I played Gothic 4 years ago. The temple was an incredibly beautiful place at that time, but the ending was sort of an anti-climax.

Well that sucks. I was expecting a bit more like a vid of the barrier being destroyed or something. It's a shame. Just to get a proper ending to Gothic you'll have to watch the intro vid of Gothic 2.
Also I didn't think the temple of the sleeper looked at that bad. Yes, by todays standards the graphics are outdated, but the design is great. Heh, it took me like 4 hours alone just to fully that dungeon. How many games that were made in the last 6 years or so can boast that? I can't recall any myself. |

I think the real ending of the story will be in gothic 3. But if you want more i say the gothic 2's game exhibition... |

Yeah, same happened to me in Gothic 1 but it happened even more in Gothic II, I was expecting to get with the ship back to the city and speak with people and do some side missions, but... |
