Here's a recap of my questions below, in case you don't want to read the whole note:)
How high can you level over all?
How high do skills go?
How high do stats go?
I'm a level 20 mage with strength and agility of 22 and 23 or so, constitution of around 30, and the rest in intelligence. So far this is working. I can't let monsters stay too close for too long without gulping potions but I can kill them very quickly. I'm still having a hard time with Giant Heavy Orcs, but the rest are easy:)
One problem is that I can't wear most of the good armor. I just saw one lovely piece that requires 65 in strength. Yet it gives mage type bonuses. Is it possible for a mage to get up to 65 in strength and still be a good mage?
What is the max for each stat? What would be a good distribution for a level 20 mage?
Regarding skills. I'm following the recommended list in the guide, but that is hard to follow: Alchemy, repair (1) only, lockpick, wisdom, identify, augment defense. I always seem to be one short of the skill level I need. I've been putting off getting Alch 2 even though I really want it because it's hard finding enough small bottles. Most of these skills are at levels 1 or two. I haven't been able to get the rest on the list.
I am building meteor strike as fast as the game will let me because that is the only thing I use to fight. It is great. I did get discs and rats because I read about them in another cheat sheet but they are low level and haven't been much use. When I first started I got another offensive mage spell, but never use it, so I'm not getting any more of those. I guess I should get some defesive mage skills, but it always seems I need something else more.
How high does each skill go? I'm hoping they stop at 5, so I can hope to build them all up to the max at some point.
Thanks. _________________ SilkenKidden |

No level cap that I ever saw and I got close to level 60.
Skills go to level 5.
No cap on stats that I saw. I had all of mine over 100 and some pushing 200 by the end of the game by using charms. Charms are a great way of boosting your stats. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

I'm wearing the best charms I can find. But none are all that powerful, except a magic +40 that I love - it has other charms too.
Thanks for your answers. Nice to know I can get so powerful before the end of the game. _________________ SilkenKidden |

Yes, you can purchase stronger charms from the mage merchant in the merchant square. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!
