IT - G2 is available in Italian, the add-on follws on April 28th for only 20 EUR.

SP - June 30th; Nobilis Iberica; English with localized subtitles (Thanks a24710 for keeping us updated! )
unoffical infos (or rumors ) are circulating about:
F - G2 with French subtitles on March 25th, the add-on and a gold edition later, all through BigBen Interactive.
SP - G2 will be released on March 11th in English with Spanish subtitles. The add-on follows later.
UK version "in a few weeks".
JoWooD signed a contract with a Scandinavian publisher about the 2005-2006 line-up and parts of the back catalog. G3 is covered, G2 & TNotR may or may not be included.
JoWooD signed a precontract with a big US publisher. The consequences for the Gothic series are unclear. It´s probable that at least G3 will be included in the deal.
The subtitle mod thread will also be updated soon. Make sure to read it before you order a German add-on.

A full English TNotR version with various subtitles has been released in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. It has been confirmed to work with G2 UK.
It´s still unclear whether or not the French add-on has shipped.
edit:
The "confirmation" wasn´t as clear as I would have liked it to be. So let´s just say it´s very probable this Eastern European version is full English with subtitles in 3 local languages and it´s also quite likely it runs with the Atari release, until we have a safe confirmation. Sorry for the posting the other infos hastily.

Experience by several players lead to the conclusion that both the Hungarian / Czech version and the Italian one can be installed out of the box over just about every other G2.
The Eastern European version is 100% English.
The Italian version has English voices combined with Italian subtitles and menus. It´s compatible to the translation mod.
I have reason to believe the English TNotR won´t see a retail release in the UK or in North America. JoWooD may well have the intention to release it, but their capability to do so is more than doubtful.
Your current options are:
- Buy a German version (add-on only, Gold Edition, Collector´s Edition, poster, sound track) and apply the subtitle mod.
-> German voices, unofficial English subtitles, G2 still in original language.
- Buy a Hungarian / Czech version
-> English voices, English subtitles, G2 still in original language.
- Buy an Italian version
-> English voices, unofficial English subtitles, G2 still in original language.
A reliable German shop can be found in another fixed thread.
Tests with a Czech and an Italian retailer are running. Watch the forums for results.

The recommended retail price for each compilation is only $19.99! All games are on the way to the retailers, they can hit the shelves every day!
Due to JoWooD´s dire financial situation and the unclear future of their publishing and distribution contracts in case of bankruptcy I suggest you do not delay your purchase.

Aspyr Media has released the 4 mentioned games.
JoWooD seems to be saved because Koch Media announced their intention to become JoWooD´s biggest shareholder.
