Beckoning Stone...a room with a bounce!

After defeating the magicians within the room, I explore around near the tub or chest and then "HUH? What was that?" I take a straight up bounce as if I stepped onto an invisible spring. And it happens in different places, at different times.

Anyone else had the same experience? Could it be a glitch or is there something else worth searching for in that room?

The party's "footprint" may have overlapped some of the furniture, causing you to climb on top of something that was out of your line of sight. Or, perhaps the Dark Savant is taking control of your computer...

...Or it's the really big thing walking around on the floor above...

Thanks Otter and Dteowner. But seriously now, has this ever happen to any of you? (I spent a good ten minutes or so searching about as to the cause of it...couldn't make anything out).

Actually, both of us were serious. Well, my DS comment wasn't, but stepping on out-of-sightline stuff will do it, as will the couple areas where there are "earthquakes", natural or critter-related.

Yes. It's the Swallower in the Zoo upstairs from that corner of the URC that makes you dance around.

It's cool, guys. I never took offense. That Dark Savant comment was actually funny. It HAD crossed my mind that it might've being some type of character manipulation, believe it or not... But in any case, I do know that I've said things on this forum that deserves a bloody mouth -- thus I could never be offended by any of you.
