| Getting Back Into the Doctor's House: Maybe I'm DUMB |
|
I can't get back into the doctor's house.
Someone told me "search for a key under a boulder." Well, I did find a boulder with a key next to the house to east of the doctor's house. I enter that house and there's not much there.
But I've circled and circled the doctor's house and I see NO boulder with a key. What's the deal? |

To unlock the other doors take a look at the funny looking lanterns inside the house.

How can I check anything inside the house? I can't get in the house. Hence my post. |

There is a key to his house just south and a little to the east. If the house is not in sight you've walked to far. Hold down the alt key and the key will be highlighted when you walk near.

I'm getting discouraged! I've combed the area! I've found three boulders. Not a blue key in sight. Sigh. I've patrolled every inch south and east of the building within sight of the building. No luck. |

Strange. Thinking about it, did you look near a partially broken-down stone wall? I think there are some barrels near-by.
I'll have to fire up a savegame and take a look. This game could really use a sextant.

I think I nerfed it somehow. I scanned that broken down wall seventeen times.
I finally broke down and wasted two skill points on lockpick. My tank Tuc is not amused, but it did also solve the problem of getting into the Vampire's lair. Perhaps it's an appropriate skill for a warrior, if only to save me from such wild key goose chases in the future!
