I can take a warning if that would make you feel better. Although I didnīt violate any of the rules, I didnīt flame anyone, I didnīt call anyone names. Sure, I pointed out that it was yet another Gothic2 release-thread, and if you feel I deserve a warning, then fine. But itīs not up to me or you, but to the admins, and in this case Gorath. If he feels I should have a warning, then so be it.

You cannot imagine how many hearts you've just touched with your selfless announcement that you would gladly take a warning for the common man. Afterall, I fully acknowledge your inability to distinguish the difference between your flame-baiting post vs an all out flamatory one. Herein lies the problem, that we simple-minded people are faced with, when having to stand up to tough "internet bullies" such as yourself.

You whore internet forums, making sarcastic comments towards people in the hopes of getting them wound up so that you can play the helpless victim, and draw a little more attention to yourself. Had you been a real man you would have delt with the fact that this type of thread may have already been in exsistance and just avoided it without further incident.

25 days left - almost 24 dys. (so long)
I can't wait - Gothic rocked so should 2 - it's bigger and more expansive.
I'll think I'll start as a Paladin how 'bout you?

Hmmm. Nobody ever accused Pinnen of being "common", but such is life. As you strive for the high road of life, you might consider reining your ego in just a bit. Perhaps I lack your passion for an unpublished game, but a countdown thread 30 days long does seem a bit silly to me. Since you are so wise that you can define "real man" for males at large, I figure you would expect this light-hearted thread to draw a derisive comment or two and consider your responses appropriately.

When you say release on Nov 29 or so where is that? I think in USA it will not be released until either 1-25-2003 at amazon.com or another one says 2-14-2003.
Is the English language version coming out in UK first? And if so, why the delay for USA? is it distributor rights? I would think the two version US/UK would be the same (English language). I think many would buy from UK then to wait 2 months for USA... anyone? 
I thought the German release was on Nov 29 2002. Is it already out in Germany? Or it is an all European release at the same time (excluding North American market)?

@Llama. It was not a flamebait. I did not try to make paul99999 look like a fool, which he understood judging by his reply. Me and Paul9999999 had a similar argument in a similiar thread, with a similar outcome. No hard feelings there. It was a way of saying "Hi again Paul9999999, I see you keep it up  ". And his reply showed me that he understood what I meant, and said the same thing back. Now, if he had chosen his words more carefully, I guess he wouldnīt get a warning, but that is not my fault.
And if you are to speak about flame-baits, maybe you should overlook your last post.

After imposing a warning on Paul99999 I feel the need to be consequent inside this thread and treat people equally.
Llama, a warning for you for flaming and repeated OT posting.
As info for our new members:
A user can receive up to 4 warnings without direct consequences. The 5th warning bans automatically. Forever.
Moderators are free to choose the combination of PMs, warning(s) and ban they consider appropriate.

You really didn't make a whole lot of sense, and I'm rather baffled on how to respond to this mess, but I will try.
Your comment about Pinnen and common doesn't really fit the discussion, but oh well.
Regarding my ego, I don't have one. Let me share a story with you, but for the sake of privacy, names will be changed...
Once upon a time, in a forum not to far away Loma used to be an admin. The nazi admins there had a death grip on everything that was said/done in the forums, and even turned away when someone they liked broke these same rules laid forth by your local Gestapo. Seeing this blatant lack of fairness, Loma became irritated at the holier-than-thou attitude that nearly all of the admins had become to develop. Not allowing any forums members to enjoy their time on the forum without reading through their "Nazi forum rules" handbook before each and every post.
The very same people that were able to wiggle around these rules by becoming friends with the admins were the ones causing trouble, all be it, in a round about way. Subtle flame baits, sarcastic comments, and inside jokes meant to cause people to become upset so that they would get in trouble and the baiters would feel better about themselves.
Loma, set forth on a crusade, although futile, to try and cleanse the corruption that had filtered throughout the administration. His efforts were in vein, as things slowly got worse, and the forum was no longer the same peaceful and FUN forum that he once knew. Heartbroken, Loma left for a long period of time, in the hopes that things would change. Unfortunatly, Loma returned to find a similar choke hold on the forums and their members, with again, only the people kissing serious ass having a good time.
Unfortunatly, the story does not have a happy ending, as Loma will eventually be banned, perhaps much later than he currently suspects. It is inevitable, because Loma, has always felt that people should be able to speak their mind as long as it is not brutally vicious to someone elses personal life. Unable to sit and watch the local bullies pull their tireless stunts over and over on newcomers or people they percieve as "pests", Loma will jump in and defend those mere mortals and will undoubtedly recieve warning after warning until perminate bannage.
Afterwards, you embellish upon how I claim to define a "real man" when I simply pointed out a flaw, rather than listing detail after detail of what defines one. Would be rather simple to understand that a "real man" would be able to deal with such a thread that you, Pinnen and DzD seem to have such a hard time with. "Waaa, thread will be going for 30 days, and I have to view it each time, making my head hurt!"...See the irony?
Yes, you can consider this entire response a mock, or sarcastic jeer, a poke at your attempt to act cool, or whatever other nonsense that you so brilliantly predicted this thread would recieve.

Yeah, I can see how this thread pains you so greatly that you are forced to keep viewing it, in the hopes that it will be locked and slowly go away, rather than giving fans a humble place to post a countdown for a product they are so obviously looking forward to.
I'm sure that statement was OT, or perhaps one of the local Nazi's could see it as a flame, who knows, but it's fun regardless.

So, in other words, you're defining what a "real man" is not, as opposed to what one is. Sorry, I missed the distinction.
As for the thread, I think it's silly, but my opinion really doesn't make it any less valid. You are entitled to generate threads as you wish (within the bounds of the forum rules ), and I encourage you to do so. The only part that troubled me was that you felt the need to pass judgement on Pinnen's manhood over a silly post in a silly thread. Strikes me as overkill, sort of a Gestapo-like heavy-handedness. (my turn for irony, yes?)
Hopefully, this post will be more clear for you than my previous one.
