A quick hello to everyone, my first post here and I thought I'd tell you my fave RPGs..
Dungeon Master - all time fave.
Baldur's Gate series
Planescape Torment
Gothic series,
NWN single and multiplayer
Morrowind
..and 100's of other to a lesser degree most of which i've forgotten at the moment. I tend to enjoy puzzles in RPG's instead of just straightforward dungeon crawling.
The latter two in my list are about the only rpgs that have excited me over the past couple of years, it's a shame all the companies are moving into the MMORPG territory with the pay twice to play system.
I've always preferred single player RPGs with the exception of NWN which i regularly partake on NWNconnections.
Looking forward very much to seeing how Oblivion pans out..looks breathtaking so far..other than that I can't see that many single player RPG's that look that exciting on the horizon..I hope i'm surprised by a few released this year!
Cheers all. |

Welcome to the forums, roo.
If you enjoy puzzles and challenges, then try out the Geneforge games. Geneforge 3 was just just released for Windows and it's a great game. The graphics are old looking, but the gameplay is rock solid. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Well, sorta..
Lol..so am I..sorta.
The mods are what made my Morrowind playing experience much more enjoyable. I have various installed but the ones I can't do without are the speed-up walking mod, real signposts, and the vibrant morrowind mod..enriches what already is a wonderful game.
Cheers to ya xSamhainx |

Hello Val, and thanks for the welcome.
Yeah, I seem to recall trying out an older Geneforge game, but now you've reminded me about them I will hunt Geneforge 3 out and see if I like it..I'm all for rock solid gameplay too! |
