Near Charwood

Ive gone through the game. but i was just wondering near charwood there is a pillar with runes on it and you have to press them in a certain order to open some sort of portal.
where can I find out how to translate these runes to access the portal? thanks

On the opposite corner of that zone, you can find a book. It has a little story that uses the three words in the correct order. They're capitalized so they stand out.
