Is there some sort of code in Gothic that trys to stablize the framerate by limiting it to 20fps? I have actually gone over 20fps while standing still, but never over 25. This is retarded if it is true. There HAS to be a way to change this limit. No matter what resolution or detail level I run the game in, I get about the same framerate, whats the deal?? Your standard 3d game usually runs 30+ fps to look smooth.

Your standard 3D game calculates only a few NPCs and concentrates mainly on graphics.

The sad truth is that your system is too slow to _constantly_ calculate more than 20fps _and_ synchronize them with the AI.
